Join our dynamic logistics team in Chicago, Illinois, as an Order Picker! This position is fundamental to our warehouse operations, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for selecting items from our extensive inventory based on order specifications. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Receiving and reviewing order pick lists or scanner requests.
- Accurately locating and retrieving specified items from warehouse shelves.
- Using electronic scanning devices to record picks and update inventory.
- Ensuring the correct quantity and type of items are selected.
- Bringing picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area to enhance efficiency and safety.
- Participating in inventory cycle counts.
- Adhering strictly to all safety protocols and company guidelines.
We provide all necessary PPE and comprehensive safety training. This role requires physical stamina, including the ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and prolonged periods of standing, walking, and bending. Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred. A strong commitment to safety and an understanding of logistics processes are essential.
