Become an Order Picker at our busy facility in Boston, Massachusetts! We are looking for motivated and agile individuals to join our dynamic logistics team. Your primary responsibility will be accurately and efficiently picking customer orders from warehouse shelves. This role is fundamental to our operations, ensuring that products are selected correctly and prepared for shipment in a timely manner. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. You will be working with a diverse range of products, so accuracy and careful handling are essential. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse stock based on customer orders and pick lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology is a plus.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices.
- Ability to work at a steady pace and meet productivity goals.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
