Our Miami, Florida location is seeking a meticulous Receiving Clerk to manage the inflow of goods into our distribution center. This role is vital for ensuring that all incoming shipments are accurately documented, inspected, and processed promptly. You will be the first point of contact for many deliveries, playing a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting our logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from various carriers.
- Verify the accuracy of received goods against purchase orders and shipping manifests.
- Inspect deliveries for any damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately document all received items in the inventory management system.
- Tag and label merchandise for proper storage and tracking.
- Communicate any receiving issues or discrepancies to supervisors and relevant departments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic material handling equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all warehouse Safety rules and procedures.
- Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Previous experience in a receiving, inventory, or warehouse role is preferred.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy are paramount.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting, up to 30 lbs.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety protocols.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
