We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Coordinator to manage and optimize our operations in Washington, D.C. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient flow of goods within the warehouse, from receiving to dispatch. Your duties will include supervising warehouse staff, coordinating inventory management, and ensuring all **logistics** processes are running smoothly. You will play a key role in implementing and enforcing **safety** procedures, ensuring that all team members adhere to **PPE** guidelines and maintain a secure work environment. Strong organizational skills, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of warehouse **logistics** are essential. You will be involved in process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs. While direct **lifting** may not be a primary function, you will oversee areas where significant **lifting** occurs and must ensure safe practices are followed by your team. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and a proven ability to manage a team effectively are required. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless coordination of activities.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct daily warehouse operations.
- Manage warehouse associates, providing direction and support.

- Champion **safety** in the workplace, enforcing **PPE** usage and protocols.
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
- Monitor warehouse performance metrics and report on key data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges.
- Ensure safe manual handling practices are followed for all **lifting** tasks.
