We're hiring an Order Picker to join our dynamic warehouse team in Kansas City, Missouri! As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently fulfilling customer orders by selecting and preparing items from warehouse shelves. This role is critical to our Logistics process, ensuring that our customers receive the correct products in a timely manner. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment. You will be actively involved in moving merchandise, performing frequent Lifting of items up to 50 pounds, and navigating the warehouse effectively. Maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to all company Safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE , is essential for this position. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using order sheets or RF scanners.
- Locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves and storage areas.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Stage orders for shipment and verify order accuracy.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety procedures and guidelines.
- Properly use and maintain PPE as required.
- Perform inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with orders or inventory.
- Contribute to the efficient flow of Logistics operations.
- Perform general warehouse duties as assigned, including occasional Lifting .
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in order picking or a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order documents.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners and other warehouse equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse procedures and basic Logistics .
- Commitment to workplace Safety and the correct use of PPE .
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
