Join our busy warehouse as a Shipping Clerk in Minneapolis, Minnesota! This role is integral to our Logistics operations, ensuring that all outgoing shipments are accurate, timely, and well-prepared. You will be responsible for processing shipping orders, preparing documentation, packaging items securely, and coordinating with carriers. The ideal candidate possesses excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You'll play a key role in customer satisfaction by ensuring the integrity of our outbound products. This position involves standing for extended periods, moving packages, and performing regular Lifting of up to 40 pounds. Adherence to strict Safety protocols and the consistent use of provided PPE are mandatory. Experience with shipping software and a good understanding of shipping regulations are beneficial. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process all orders for shipment.
- Verify accuracy of outgoing shipments against orders.
- Package items securely for transit, ensuring product protection.
- Prepare shipping labels, manifests, and other necessary documentation.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pick-ups and deliveries.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE .
- Assist with inventory counts and stock management as needed.
- Report any shipping discrepancies or issues immediately.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the Logistics department.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in shipping or a related warehouse role.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and computers.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle repetitive tasks and perform moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Understanding of shipping procedures and documentation.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and proper use of PPE .
- Good communication skills.
