We are hiring enthusiastic individuals for Picker/Packer positions in Milwaukee, Wisconsin! As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders by picking items from inventory and carefully packing them for shipment. Your attention to detail and efficiency are key to our logistics operations. This role requires individuals who can work diligently, maintain organization, and adhere to strict safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves using order lists or electronic scanners.
- Verify product details and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers, minimizing damage.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring efficient workflow.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Meet established picking and packing productivity standards.
- Assist with other warehouse duties such as receiving and stocking as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capacity for Lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Familiarity with safety procedures in a warehouse setting.
