Join our New York City, New York team as a Receiving Clerk! This critical role ensures the accurate and efficient intake of all incoming goods, forming a vital link in our logistics network. Your primary responsibilities will include unloading delivery trucks, verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders or invoices, inspecting goods for damage, and accurately documenting all received items into our inventory system. Maintaining a clean and organized receiving area is also part of your duties. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and possess strong data entry skills. Adherence to all Safety guidelines and the proper use of required PPE are essential for this position. This role involves some physical work, including Lifting of boxes and materials, so a good level of physical stamina is beneficial. You will work closely with other warehouse staff and logistics coordinators to ensure smooth operations. A proactive approach to identifying and resolving discrepancies is highly valued.
