Responsibilities:
- Select specified items from warehouse shelves according to order tickets and electronic pick lists.
- Package items securely and appropriately for shipping, ensuring product integrity.
- Verify order accuracy by cross-referencing items picked with order details.
- Operate manual and powered warehouse equipment safely, as required by the role.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment, strictly adhering to all company Safety standards.
- Report any inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or potential safety hazards to supervisory staff.
- Ensure compliance with all PPE requirements, including the use of provided safety equipment.
- Assist with receiving and put-away tasks as needed, contributing to overall inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to meet and exceed daily order fulfillment goals.
- Contribute to a positive and productive warehouse atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in order picking, warehousing, or a related field is beneficial.
- Ability to interpret product codes, descriptions, and order instructions accurately.
- A strong focus on accuracy and an exceptional eye for detail.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Capability of Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Knowledge of basic warehouse operations and safety practices.
- Reliable attendance and a commitment to fulfilling job responsibilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
