Our Indianapolis, Indiana facility is looking for enthusiastic Fulfillment Associates to join our growing team. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will play a vital role in processing customer orders accurately and efficiently. This includes picking items from inventory, packing them securely for shipment, and preparing orders for dispatch. Your dedication to accuracy and speed will directly impact customer satisfaction and the success of our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials and methods to ensure product safety during transit.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Operate handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure order accuracy and product integrity.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order fulfillment, picking, packing, or warehouse operations is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with manual Lifting.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with WMS are beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail is essential for order accuracy.
- Commitment to upholding safety standards and using required PPE.
- Understanding of general logistics workflows.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for the duration of the shift.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving.
