We are looking for a reliable and efficient Picker/Packer to join our growing warehouse team in Austin, Texas. This role is central to our logistics operations, ensuring that products are accurately selected from inventory and prepared for shipment. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for locating items using a scanner or pick list, carefully gathering them, and then packaging them securely and appropriately for transit. You will play a vital role in maintaining the speed and accuracy of our order fulfillment process, directly impacting customer satisfaction. Your contribution will be essential in managing inventory and ensuring timely deliveries to our clients. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to orders.
- Package products carefully to prevent damage during shipping.
- Verify picked items against order requirements for accuracy.
- Operate hand-held scanners to track inventory movement.
- Label packages correctly for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and general warehouse area.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Assist in cycle counts and inventory checks as directed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehousing is advantageous.
- Ability to perform tasks involving significant Lifting of items up to 40 pounds.
- Must be comfortable standing, walking, and bending for extended shifts.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of basic inventory and logistics principles.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
