We are seeking dedicated Order Pickers to join our busy warehouse in Orlando, Florida. As an Order Picker, you will play a vital role in our logistics and fulfillment process by accurately gathering items for outgoing customer orders. Your duties will include reading order tickets, locating products in the warehouse, selecting the correct items, and staging them for the packing department. Safety is paramount; all employees must strictly follow safety protocols, wear the designated PPE, and employ safe lifting techniques to ensure a secure working environment. This position requires individuals who are detail-oriented, have good stamina for physical tasks including walking and standing, and can work efficiently under pressure. Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is beneficial, as is familiarity with RF scanners. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and assemble customer orders from warehouse stock.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order requirements.
- Use handheld scanners and other technology to guide picking process.
- Transport picked items to designated areas for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear mandatory PPE.
- Practice safe lifting and material handling techniques.
- Identify and report any inventory discrepancies.
- Support the smooth functioning of the overall logistics chain.
- Achieve expected picking rates and quality standards.
