We are currently recruiting for an IT Project Manager – Azure Infrastructure (Full-Time Contractor) in Stamford, CT. Seeking Experienced Project Manager for Enterprise Azure Platform Migration. This is a one year contract with possible extension. Full time 40 hours per week. Hybrid schedule. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in migrating Azure infrastructure solutions for enterprise-level, business-critical platforms. This role will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of a multi-environment Azure infrastructure supporting internal employee use and external access through a secure portal, leveraging Azure Front Door for global scalability and reliability. $50.00 - $55.00 Hourly Rate.
*Responsibilities:*
* Lead end-to-end global project management for the design, build, and migration of Azure
* infrastructure supporting enterprise business platforms.
* Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, vendors and partners to gather requirements and define project scope for multiple environments (development, staging, production, etc.).
* Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to ensure successful delivery within agreed deadlines and budget.
* Oversee the implementation of Azure Front Door, ensuring secure and efficient access to the platform via the customer portal.
* Monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and resolve issues promptly to maintain continuity and platform stability.
* Ensure adherence to enterprise security, compliance, and governance standards throughout the project lifecycle.
* Prepare and present status updates, documentation, and post-migration reports to senior leadership and technical teams.
* Drive continuous improvement of design by identifying opportunities to optimize Azure infrastructure performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
*Requirements:*
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
* 5+ years of project management experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 3 years focused on Azure cloud solutions.
* Demonstrated experience migrating and/or designing enterprise-level Azure platforms with multiple environments.
* Strong understanding of Azure services, including Azure Front Door, networking, security, and resource management.
* Experience managing platforms accessed via portals by employees and external users.
