• You will be responsible for detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.

As part of your duties, you will also be required to prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens, smugglers of noncitizens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations. You may interpret tracks marks other physical evidence indicating illegal entry into this country along with performing farm building traffic city patrols transportation checks across the international border coastal waterways on various government assets such as vehicles horses vessels watercraft off-road vehicles ATVs snowmobiles motorcycles accident investigations acting reviewing reports financial data inventory management installing communications equipment security systems resolve disputes analyze crime trends establish safety procedures provide training programs target campaigns collaborate strategies throughout all shifts including nights weekends holidays
