Job Summary:

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team of dedicated professionals in protecting the nation's borders.

As a Border Patrol Agent, you will play a critical role in safeguarding America by detecting and preventing illicit activities at or near the borders.

• Detect and question people suspected of violating immigration laws
• Inspect documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations
• Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers of noncitizens

You will be responsible for performing various tasks such as farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, transportation checks, patrolling international boundaries and coastal waterways using government assets like vehicles, horses, vessels etc., interpreting tracks marks other physical evidence illegal entry persons or contraband following USBP mission regulations guidelines methods techniques through classroom training job instruction gathering concise information questioning observation examination records.
