The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to make rapid judgments, and have experience working with diverse populations. They should also be proficient in utilizing intelligence techniques and behavior analysis to identify potential threats.

• Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.


• Facilitate legitimate trade and travel while preventing the illegal entry of people or goods.


• Conduct inspections of individuals, conveyances, cargo/bags/merchandise as required by law.


• Determine admissibility for entrance into the United States based on evidence provided through thorough interviewing techniques utilized during questioning processes.
