A border protection officer is responsible for safeguarding America's borders and enforcing laws related to customs, immigration, and agriculture.
Key Responsibilities:
- To prevent the entry of prohibited or restricted goods into the country
- To enforce laws and regulations regarding customs, immigration, and agriculture
- To conduct inspections at ports of entry to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
For this role, you will be required to have excellent communication skills as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You must also be able to make sound decisions under pressure.
Main Qualifications:
- Degree in Law Enforcement or a related field
- At least 1 year of experience in law enforcement or a related field
