Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Burlington, ON, for a highly motivated CNC Programmer/Machinist. The role involves programming CNC machines, reading and interpreting technical drawings, and performing precision machining and milling tasks to manufacture high-quality components. The selected candidate will collaborate with engineers to optimize processes and ensure production efficiency while adhering to quality standards and safety protocols.
Qualifications
Proficiency in CNC Programming, including creating and editing machine code for fabrication, using Autodesk Inventor or Fusion
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Machining and Milling processes
Ability to read and interpret Technical Drawings, ensuring accuracy in production
Experience in Programming for automated systems and machine tools
Attention to detail and ability to work with precision under strict quality guidelines
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Relevant certifications in CNC programming or machining are an asset
Experience in the packaging machinery or manufacturing industry is highly desirable
