• Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.
• Facilitate legitimate trade and travel while conducting inspections on individuals and conveyances.
• Determine admissibility for entry into the United States by identifying potential threats through intelligence techniques and behavior analysis.

• A minimum one year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level that includes detaining suspected violators using proper law enforcement methods or enforcing importing/exporting/ international shipping laws.
