Über
is world's first end-to-end group booking / menu-selection / invitation / payments platform for fine dining restaurants. We fill the "goldilocks" zone of 6-20 diners (too big for the big booking platforms, too small to generate sufficient commission for commission-based event sales people). Our product is designed to simplify group dining coordination while helping restaurants better manage demand. We're in the process of retooling the platform to be completely AI driven, and preparing to launch what we believe will be the world's first AI group dining and restaurant reservation platform. When released, our users will be able to have a conversation with AI and end up with the perfect date, restaurant, menu, and wine pairings for their "in-restaurant dinner party".
Role Overview
We are seeking an AI Specialist to help us organize and optimize our internal AI ecosystem. This role will be responsible for organizing, governing, and optimizing our use of ChatGPT and other AI platforms, while also advising leadership on long-term AI strategy.
We currently use ChatGPT with multiple custom GPTs created for different use cases. Over time, this ecosystem has grown organically. We now require a structured approach to:
- Organize and manage these GPTs effectively
- Enable teams to determine which GPT or AI tool to use for a given scenario
- Evaluate whether ChatGPT remains the right platform, or if alternatives such as Claude or other AI platforms should be adopted, and if so why
Key Responsibilities
- Audit existing custom GPTs and AI workflows & suggest improvements / consolidation options.
- Design a structured framework to organize GPTs by purpose, team, complexity, and risk
- Identify and eliminate redundant or overlapping GPTs
- Build a GPT recommendation or routing system that:
~ Accepts a user's use case or scenario as input
~ Analyzes intent and constraints
~ Recommends the most appropriate GPT or AI tool
- Advise leadership on AI platform decisions, including:
~ ChatGPT versus alternatives such as Claude, Gemini, or open-source models
~ Trade-offs related to accuracy, cost, security, and scalability
- Improve prompt architecture, system instructions, and output reliability
- Create internal documentation, best practices, and training / onboarding materials
- Define governance, security standards, and long-term maintenance processes
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience working with ChatGPT, custom GPTs, and prompt engineering
- Strong understanding of LLM platforms and their tools, integrations, strengths and weaknesses
- Experience designing AI workflows, decision frameworks, or routing logic
- Ability to translate business needs into structured AI solutions
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to assess existing systems and recommend improvements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI platforms such as Claude, Gemini, or open-source LLMs
- Familiarity with API-based AI architectures or multi-model strategies
- Experience setting up AI governance or internal AI standards
- Experience with AI workflow automation tools (N8N, Make, Zapier)
