Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, location etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

We are looking for a Group Benefits Analyst to join BrokerLink's Life & Health Benefits Team and work out of one of our offices in Woodbridge, Ontario on a Permanent (FT) Basis .

What the Role Entails:

• Review and analyze claims loss ratio reports for annual group benefits renewals and negotiate renewal rates directly with Carrier Partners

• Recommend plan design changes, where appropriate

• Prepare the renewal reports for client presentation by Advisor

• Prepare semi-annual experience reports for clients

• Market new group benefit plans or remarket existing group plans, preparing necessary documentation for the proposal process and submit request to quote to insurers

• Analyse proposals received and prepare comprehensive Marketing Report for prospect/client's review with Advisor

• Work with insurer and client to implement Groups, ensuring seamless onboarding experience for client and its members

• Assist clients with queries pertaining to claims, new enrolments, terminations, etc.

• Maintain strong relationship with all stakeholders

The Successful candidate will have:

• Post-Secondary Education

• Minimum 3 years of related industry experience

• Strong analytical and organizational skills

• Works well independently and closely with Advisor and other team members

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Effectively uses and is proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

• Collaborative work ethic

• Excellent time-management skills and follow-through skills

• Ability to pass a criminal background check and credit check preferred
