Who we are looking for

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the Corporate Actions Processing team. This role will require the individual to continually monitor, audit and process announced Corporate Actions and to act timely in reviewing, understanding and processing of events.  The role will involve working closely with the Corporate Actions  team to ensure daily task are completed in line with State Street processing and audit requirement . The role will also require the successful candidate to communicate effectively with other internal Corporate Actions teams on event details and inquiries.

What you will be responsible for

As an Associate 2 you will:

  • Act as a member of the Corporate Actions Processing and Research team providing support and control over complex and time critical Corporate Actions events and transactions
  • Be responsible for Auditing daily events and have the capability to provide coverage for the Research, Lending and processing team
  • Provide training and coaching to team members as necessary
  • Assist managers and other staff  member by prioritizing the workload and ensure daily tasks are completed
  • Deliver effective client service
  • Ensure effective risk management by co-ordinating and reviewing the end of day management reporting and ensuring timely escalation and resolution of pertinent issues
  • Act as a subject matter expert support on projects and initiatives aimed at improving the Corporate Actions product
  • Assist and co-ordinate procedural changes to the current process

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Educated to a degree level (preferred) in a related field (Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, etc.)
  • Strong organizational, analytical thinking and interpersonal skills necessary.
  • An understanding of the financial services industry
  • Experience of Corporate Actions in a custody and/or middle office environment

Salary Range:

$45,000 - $67,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
