The Opportunity As an Entry Level Geotechnical Engineer in our GTA West Group, you will support and supervise geotechnical investigations and contribute to engineering projects that shape the future of infrastructure across Ontario. Working closely with intermediate and senior engineers, you will help deliver high-quality technical work, gain hands-on experience across a range of project types, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, innovative solutions for public and private sector clients.
Your Impact
  • Supervise geotechnical investigations including test pitting, borehole drilling, and in-situ testing
  • Support the coordination of geotechnical investigation and laboratory testing
  • Complete geotechnical analyses such as bearing capacity, settlement, and slope stability under the guidance of intermediate and senior engineers
  • Provide technical support on geotechnical projects, including field investigations, interpretation of laboratory test results, and geotechnical design and analysis
  • Assist senior team members in preparing geotechnical studies, proposals, and engineering reports for projects of low to medium complexity
  • Participate in and promote a safety-first culture

The Skills That Set You Apart
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geological, or Geotechnical Engineering (Master's considered an asset)
  • 1–3 years of relevant post-degree experience in geotechnical consulting
  • Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with PEO
  • Sense of initiative, attention to detail, and team spirit
  • Strong technical writing skills, interpersonal communication, and emotional intelligence
  • Commitment to safe work practices for yourself and your colleagues
  • Willingness to work outside the office and on project sites as required
  • Valid Ontario driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle

Compensation AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $66,700 – $88,400
MB & ON: $60,900 – $83,800
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $60,300 – $80,000 Disclosure:
