About the Job We're seeking a relationship‑driven sales professional to grow revenue and market share with primary preferred luxury travel agency partners across the NORAM region, with an emphasis on Canada for a major hotel chain. In this role, you'll own a defined agency portfolio (~50 agencies), execute strategic engagement plans, and represent their luxury brands through agency visits, hub activities, and advisor education. You'll work closely with in‑market partners to align on priorities, share insights, and deliver high‑impact initiatives across both luxury transient and group segments. This role blends strategic planning, hands‑on relationship management, and event execution to drive measurable results.
Responsibilities Sales Planning & Market Growth Define the annual sales plan and activity goals in coordination with senior leadership. Execute strategic initiatives to grow luxury market share across the assigned region. Identify and qualify new business opportunities in luxury transient and group segments. Agency Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with luxury travel agencies and home‑based advisors. Promote the global brand portfolio, with emphasis on luxury brands. Gather agent feedback, share insights, and monitor competitive landscape. Recommend potential partners for qualification into luxury advisor programs. Education, Training & Advisor Engagement Deliver virtual and in‑person training to travel advisors (webinars, agency visits, lunch‑and‑learns, walk‑arounds, hub events). Develop and execute education plans for home‑based agents and preferred partners. Coordinate with hotels to support training needs and brand messaging. Events & Activation Secure, organize, and lead multi‑agency events, roadshows, and partner activations, both virtually and in‑market. Identify opportunities for engagement such as newsletters, email campaigns, promotions, and partner events. Reporting, Communication & Team Collaboration Maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and engagement records within Salesforce and other tracking tools. Collaborate closely with in‑market teams to align strategies and share insights. Participate actively and professionally in all internal meetings and calls. Skills & Competencies Location: Fully remote in Canada; Toronto preferred (Ottawa acceptable). Must live near a major airport to support frequent travel. Experience: 5+ years in the travel industry, including exposure to luxury and agency sectors. Sales DNA: Creative, outgoing, and consistently professional; strong relationship‑building and account management skills. Communication: Excellent oral, written, presentation, and facilitation skills; comfortable educating advisors and presenting to groups. Organization: Strong time‑management; ability to work independently while managing multiple stakeholders across regions. Culture & Collaboration: Experience working in multi‑cultural or international settings; team‑oriented with a growth mindset. Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Webex, and Zoom; Salesforce experience preferred.
