Our Global Markets' team delivers comprehensive solutions across Credit, FX, Rates, Equities, and Structured Products, leveraging MUFG's global scale and financial strength. About the Team
The Sales Analytics & Controls team is part of the global Sales Business Management organization within MUFG's Global Markets unit. The team supports the Bank's sales function across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia, driving operational excellence and delivering insights to help leadership make informed business decisions. Our mandate is to centralize and strengthen sales management processes, enhance governance and control, and develop analytics that measure performance and enable strategic growth. We work closely with sales desks, risk, KYC, operations and technology partners to ensure consistency, transparency, and accuracy in sales-related activities.
Role Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join the Sales Analytics & Controls team at MUFG Securities. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day management of global sales processes, including booking and validating sales credits, developing performance analytics, and handling client-related administrative tasks. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, global environment and contribute to global initiatives across all products within the global markets group.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily intake and resolution of requests from global sales teams, including the booking and correction of sales credits and client onboarding and maintenance tasks.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting tools and analytics to provide actionable insights into sales performance, client activity, and business trends.
- Conduct reconciliation and validation of sales credit data to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Prepare materials and presentations for senior management and governance committees.
- Maintain adherence to MUFG's internal controls, compliance requirements, and operational best practices.
- Participate in the regulatory onboarding process for swap clients to ensure trading eligibility.
- Identify process improvements and drive operational efficiencies across systems and workflows.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline required, CFA Charter holder or candidate a plus
- 4+ years of relevant experience in sales operations, business management, or analytics within financial services.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Tableau, Power BI, or SQL is preferred.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to interact across teams and regions and other business units to achieve desired outcomes.
