WHAT YOU'LL DO

Build Reliable Maintenance Systems

  • Design and run preventive and predictive maintenance programs using CMMS.
  • Oversee Maintenance work to ensure production flow while meeting OEM and regulatory requirements.

Improve Equipment Performance

  • Keep processing, packaging, utilities, HVAC, and refrigeration operating at peak reliability.
  • Analyze downtime, lead root cause investigations, and put lasting fixes in place.

Protect Safety and Compliance

  • Ensure readiness for audits and inspections across CFIA, HACCP, GMP, and WorkSafeBC standards.
  • Lead risk assessments, safe work procedures, and maintenance safety practices.

Lead People and Projects

  • Coach and support a high-performing maintenance team focused on safety and accountability.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts, and small-to-mid capital projects with care and discipline.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5–10 years in food manufacturing, including 3+ years in operations or maintenance leadership.
  • Proven experience with PM programs, CMMS, budgets, and equipment reliability.
  • A steady leadership style, clear communication, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Bonus: Trade certification (Red Seal), HACCP certification, or experience with CFIA/FSSC/SQF standards.
