About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Border Security Professional. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our borders while enforcing immigration laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws
- Inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations
- Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers of noncitizens at or near the borders
Skills & Qualifications:
p>You must have one (1) year of general work experience that demonstrates your ability to take charge, make sound decisions, maintain composure in stressful situations; learn regulations, methods, techniques through classroom training on-the-job instruction; gather concise information through questioning observation examination documents records OR Education Substitution bachelor degree successful completion full four-year course study any field leading bachelor degree from accredited college university Combination Experience Education calculated using resume official unofficial transcripts submitted application You qualify GL-7 grade level if possess following: Experience One (1) year specialized work experience shows skills necessary Make sound judgments decisions use firearms Deal effectively people courteous tactful manner connection law enforcement matters Analyze information rapidly make prompt decisions exercise sound judgment use firearms deal effectively people courtesy manner analyze information rapidly make prompt decisions develop maintain contact network informants;
