AnthroMed Education is partnering with a supportive middle school team to welcome a clinician into a thoughtfully structured maternity leave assignment. This role was intentionally designed to support sustainability, collaboration, and realistic caseload expectations, with strong clinical support throughout the assignment.
*Position Overview*
* *Schedule:* Full-Time
* *Location:* Spring Lake Park, MN
* *Setting:* In-person, one middle school building
* *Grade Levels:* 7th–8th grade
* *Pay Rate:* $45–$60 per hour, based on experience and credentials
* *Start Date:* Early March
* Note: The school observes an early spring break from March 6–16, allowing for a brief onboarding period followed by a natural reset before returning on March 17
* This role is available for an ASAP start, with support in place for a smooth onboarding
* *Assignment Length:* Immediate start through the rest of the school year with potential extension opportunities for the 26/27 School Year!

* One school building with a collaborative related services team
* Predictable schedule following a 3:1 service delivery model
* Built-in planning, evaluation, and documentation time
* Supportive transition timing with an early spring break built in
* Opportunity to extend beyond the initial coverage period
*Caseload & Setting Details*
* Approximate caseload: Up to 60 students
* School levels served: Middle school (7th–8th grade only)
* Number of buildings: One building
* Primary student needs include:
* General education students
* ASD classroom
* Developmental Cognitive Disability (DCD) classroom
* Emotional/Behavioral classroom (speech services may be minimal)
* Service model: 3:1 model with one dedicated week for evaluations, paperwork, and planning
* Service delivery: Combination of pull-out and collaborative services, aligned with IEPs
* Student day timeframe: Typical middle school schedule (daytime hours aligned with the school day)
* Workspace: Dedicated speech space available within the building
* Team structure: Collaboration with another SLP supporting 5th–6th grade students
*Clinical Support & Perks*

*Your Impact *(Responsibilities)
* Provide speech and language services aligned with student IEPs
* Conduct evaluations, progress monitoring, and documentation
* Collaborate with special education staff, related service providers, and families
* Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team planning
* Support students across a range of communication needs in school-based settings
*What You’ll Bring* (Qualifications)
* Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
* Active Minnesota Speech-Language Pathology license
* Minnesota PEL
* ASHA CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellow status
* Interest in or experience with school-based practice, IEPs, and collaboration
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
