Border Protection Specialist

A Border Patrol Agent plays a vital role in safeguarding America's borders.

The primary duties of this position include questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, detecting and apprehending undocumented noncitizens, identifying tracks marks and other physical evidence, taking charge under stressful situations, and learning regulations through classroom training and on-the-job instruction.

• To be considered for this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to make sound judgments under stress while remaining composed. A minimum one year general work experience or a bachelor degree from an accredited college or university is required. The ideal candidate will have successfully completed relevant coursework with transcripts submitted upon application. Relevant military service as a law enforcement officer with advance rank GS11 experience is also highly valued.
