This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of law enforcement professionals who are dedicated to protecting the American people and securing the nation's borders.

As a Customs and Border Protection Officer (CBPO), you will play a critical role in enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations. You will be responsible for facilitating the flow of legitimate trade and travel while preventing the illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods into the United States.

CBP officers work at various ports along our country's borders with Canada, Mexico, Guam, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands and other territories around the world. They screen passengers arriving by air or sea; inspect cargo shipments including commercial trucks crossing land borders as well as merchant vessels coming from overseas destinations such as China, Japan and others.
In addition they check travelers documents when entering these countries if there have any issues found relating whether this includes information about something previously tried before which would normally lead towards denial approval without waiver!

• Enforce immigration laws regulating arrival/departure procedures determining whether noncitizens may enter/remain/stay outside USA based upon certain conditions factors;
