Border Protection Specialist

The Department of Homeland Security is seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to serve as Customs and Border Protection Officers. As a CBPO, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for protecting America's borders, enforcing customs and immigration laws, and facilitating the flow of legitimate trade and travel.

• Experience in law enforcement or related field with emphasis on detaining suspected violators, enforcing regulations, and conducting interviews;


• Knowledge of customs and immigration laws;


• Possess strong analytical skills to identify potential threats;

   In addition to these qualifications, CBPOs must also meet other requirements such as being U.S. citizens residing within the United States for at least three years prior to application submission date.
The age restriction does not apply if candidate currently serving federal civilian law-enforcement position.”
