Border Security Specialist

Protecting the community and safeguarding national security are core responsibilities of a Border Patrol Agent. This role offers career advancement opportunities with grade level progression from GL-9 to GS-11 to GS-12.

• Detective Work: Agents utilize intelligence information to track illegal operations, threats to the nation, and contraband while serving as law enforcement officials.

• Law Enforcement Expertise:  Agents apprehend violators of laws by utilizing complex technology such as surveillance detection systems communication equipment etc.
