Border Protection Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Border Protection Officer to join our team. This is a critical role that requires individuals with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

About the Job:

• This position involves enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.


• Facilitating the flow of legitimate trade and travel.


• Conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances.

Experience or education equivalent to GS-5 level in General Work Experience (3 years full-time) OR Bachelor's degree; Combination experience/education as calculated based on your resume/transcripts applied towards selection; Super Academic Achievements for Grad Education.  OR higher work classification based on Law Enforcement/Military background qualifications covered by USAJOBS JOAs.

to be available 24 hours/day at any post assignment location - including southern border assignments requiring Spanish training;
The ability to pass pre-academy orientation followed by CBP Field Operations Academy for an additional 101 days.; pp p
