Border Protection Specialist

The U.S. Border Patrol is recruiting entry-level agents in law enforcement careers that make a difference every day to our country and its citizens.

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws.
• Preventing undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near borders by maintaining covert surveillance.

Nearly all work requires physical presence; however, some tasks may be performed remotely with internet access.
Prior experience in public safety can qualify candidates for this role,
The GL-5 grade level has requirements such as one-year general work experience demonstrating ability to take charge under stressful situations OR bachelor's degree plus successful completion of full course study in any field leading to bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university OR combination thereof
All candidates must have residency status within the United States protected by international treaties like the 3/5 preceding years.
