We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the position of Border Protection Specialist. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the nation's borders and enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, be able to work effectively in high-pressure situations, and possess strong communication skills. You will be responsible for conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances, facilitating the flow of legitimate trade and travel, and preventing the illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods.

• Candidates must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-7 level or higher that includes detaining suspected violators using proper law enforcement methods;


• Ability to enforce regulations relating to importing/exporting merchandise;


• Conduct interviews with suspects for purposes of gaining information from them about their activities;

1. An annual base salary ranging between $61, 111 - $124, 443; locality pay varies by duty location; an overtime pay up to $45, 000 annually once fully trained as CBPO;
