Border Patrol Role Overview:

This is a challenging position involving the detection and apprehension of individuals suspected of violating immigration laws.

• Detecting suspicious activity at or near international borders


• Evaluating documents and personal effects to determine citizenship status


• Preventing undocumented noncitizens from entering or re-entering the country

• Suspect identification through surveillance and questioning techniques
