About the Job:
- Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations
- Facilitate legitimate trade and travel while ensuring national security
- Conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances to prevent smuggling of contraband
The CBP Field Operations Academy provides comprehensive training for newly appointed officers. The 101-day program includes basic law enforcement skills, immigration laws, firearms training, cargo inspection, physical fitness assessments, and Spanish language training for southern border duty locations.
