The role of the CBPO is multifaceted. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, facilitating legitimate trade and travel, conducting inspections, determining admissibility, preventing illegal entry, smuggling contraband goods.

• Enforce customs, immigration & agriculture laws & regulations by inspecting individuals & conveyances.
  detain suspected violators in accordance with established procedures;
  determine appropriate course of action based on findings during interviews.
  Conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats affecting national security,
  utilize intelligence techniques to gather information relevant to law enforcement purposes;
  Inspect cargo/bags/merchandise as part of import/export process regulating items entering/exiting United States territory


• Inspect cargo/bags/merchandise regularly according to regular schedules
