Location: Düsseldorf
Department: Group Innovation – Innovation Department
Working hours: up to 20 hours/week
Start: Immediately or by agreement

Support the development of customer-centric product and service ideas along the early innovation process.

Design and execute customer validations (e.g. interviews, surveys, experiments, rapid tests) to test desirability and acceptance.

Translate customer insights into clear hypotheses, opportunity areas and concept improvements.

Build simple digital or physical prototypes to make ideas tangible and testable.

Conduct structured research on consumer behaviour, market trends and usage contexts.

Document learnings and help build an insight-driven idea backlog for future ideation sprints.

Actively contribute to an open, experimental innovation culture within the WEPA Group.
Qualifications:
-
Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Psychology, Design, Engineering, Business, Social Sciences or a comparable field with a strong interest in users and customers
Knowledge & Experience:
-
First experience or strong interest in user research, customer interviews, surveys or experiments

Ability to structure insights and derive implications for product or service ideas

Experience with prototyping, visualization, research tools or data analysis is a plus

Curiosity for sustainability, circular products and consumer decision-making
Working:

Structured, analytical and hands-on, while being comfortable working with hypotheses and imperfect data

You enjoy testing ideas early, learning fast and iterating based on feedback

Independent but team-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership

Language: Fluent in English, German is a plus
