We are seeking a skilled Customs and Border Protection Officer to join our team. As a CBPO, you will play a critical role in protecting America by safeguarding its borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing economic prosperity.
Duties:
The primary responsibilities of this position include enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws; facilitating legitimate trade and travel; conducting inspections; determining admissibility for entry into the US; preventing illegal entry of individuals and goods; as well as identifying potential threats to national security.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills to apply regulations effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving : Utilize intelligence techniques to identify potential threats.
- Linguistic Proficiency (Optional) : Possess fluency in Spanish language for assignments on southern border or Puerto Rico duty locations.
