Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is a unique opportunity to work in the law enforcement field. This position involves protecting American interests, safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity.
As a CBPO, you will be part of an elite team of highly trained professionals who are passionate about their daily mission. You will be responsible for enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations. Your duties may include facilitating trade and travel while preventing the illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods.
• Enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws. “You qualify for this position if you have previous law enforcement or military law enforcement experience. In accordance with Public Law , this position is covered under law enforcement retirement provisions The age restriction may not apply if you are Veterans' Preference eligible,”
• Facilitating legitimate trade.
• Conducting inspections.
