About the Position
As a Border Patrol Agent, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our nation's borders and protecting its citizens. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of dedicated professionals who are committed to upholding the law and preventing illegal activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Detect and apprehend individuals suspected of violating immigration laws
- Inspect documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations
- Maintain surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations
Requirements for Success:
Skill Requirements:
- The ability to make sound judgments and decisions in the use of firearms.
- A high level of diplomacy when dealing with people in connection with law enforcement matters.
- Analyze information rapidly and make prompt decisions where arrests may be necessary after completing required training.
The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, physical stamina, as well as proficient Spanish language skills (written & spoken).
