Border Security Officer

The U.S. Border Patrol is hiring for entry-level positions in federal law enforcement, offering a long-term career with excellent pay and benefits.

A typical day as a BPA involves detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents, preventing smuggling activities, performing farm checks, traffic checks, city patrols, transportation checks, patrolling the international boundary using various government assets.
The job requires being part of an elite team striving to protect America by safeguarding borders and deterring illicit activity. The position comes with opportunities for promotion based on performance within 52 weeks in each grade level from GL-5 to GS-12.

• Detecting signs of human trafficking or smuggling activities,
  gathering concise information through questioning,


• Maintaining composure under stress while dealing effectively with people in connection with law enforcement matters,
  Taking charge during crisis situations.

makes sound decisions  and maintain composure under stressful conditions;
This includes learning regulations  methods, &n techniques via classroom training or on-the-job instruction.
