We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated professionals to join our team as Customs and Border Protection Officers. As a CBPO, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the nation's borders, enforcing customs laws, and protecting American citizens.

This is a career ladder position with a grade level progression of GS-5, GS-7, GS-9, GS-11, and GS-12. You will be eligible for promotion to the next higher grade level (without re-applying) once you successfully complete 52 weeks in each grade level.

• Enforcing customs laws and regulations at ports of entry;
• Facilitating legitimate trade and travel while preventing illicit activity;
• Conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances;

• A minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level; or
• A master's degree or two years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree; or
a combination of both experience & education.
