We're hiring for three pivotal teams at Slack, each focusing on different aspects of our frontend engineering: Slack's Product Surfaces Team:
Shape Slack's desktop experience through collaborative efforts with designers, product managers, and engineers, aiming to deliver a cohesive user experience that millions enjoy daily. The Slackforce Team:
Lead the development of essential integrations between Slack and Salesforce, ensuring that cross-platform experiences empower enterprises to collaborate seamlessly. The Frontend DevXP Team:
Work on enhancing developer experiences by improving our tooling and processes for building and deploying frontend code, making it efficient and intuitive for our engineers. As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and develop impactful features for our expanding user base. Deliver high-quality results that contribute significantly to team projects and business objectives. Take ownership of features and systems, ensuring their long-term success and health, while also enhancing related systems. Assist support and operations teams in troubleshooting and resolving production issues. Mentor junior engineers and conduct thorough code reviews to uphold our high standards. Continuously improve our engineering practices and tooling to drive efficiency. If you have experience with: Over 9 years in designing and developing consumer-facing software. JavaScript, TypeScript, Redux, and React. Building complex CSS and HTML layouts. Web accessibility best practices and modern browser technologies. Collaboration and troubleshooting within complex systems. Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude. A related technical degree.
