NOTE: Interview will be In Person Typical task breakdown: - Work directly on WLAN issue identification and resolution, including off-shift and weekend support functions - Participate in integrated testing and user acceptance of application or infrastructure components - Work actively with business partners and vendors with integration of infrastructure - Implement WLAN designs - Work with expanded WLAN team to implement processes and/or process improvements to aid in development and support - Maintain and administer Client WLAN including hardware, software, applications software, and configurations. - Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve WLAN hardware, software, or other network and system problems. - Participate in an on-call rotation with team members, approximately 1 week every 8 weeks Interaction with team: - Participate in an on-call rotation with team members, approximately 1 week every 8 weeks - Remote work is allowed on a limited basis, but candidate must be within 30-minute driving distance in the event on-site support is required. - Must have knowledge of configuration commands, software, and hardware components related to WLAN Work environment: Job requires in-person attendance, five days a week (schedule is flexible: Working Hours) Education & Experience Required: - Bachelor’s degree preferred NOT required but the MUST have 8+years’ experience to be considered for this role. Technical Skills (Required) - Computer-related or engineering-related four-year college or university degree - Three to six years of progressively responsible IT job-related experiences - WLAN implementation and support, knowledge of risk domains, tiered domains, TCP/IP fundamentals, ethernet, QoS, IP subnetting, cabling (copper & fiber), OSPF, VLAN Trunking, VLANs, and switching configuration. - Functional experience with LAN operations and implementation utilizing Cisco switches. - Cisco WLAN devices/products (i.e., AireOS, 9800's, etc.) (Desired) - Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) - Experience with automation technologies and scripting - Relevant work experience with medium to large companies - Must have knowledge of configuration commands, software, and hardware components related to WLAN Soft Skills (Required) - Attention to detail - Effective communication skills
