Responsibilities:
- Detected and questioned individuals attempting to cross the border illegally
- Inspect documents and possessions for contraband or evidence of wrongdoing
- Determined citizenship status through interviews and investigations
- Prevented aliens from entering the country by detecting smuggling operations
- Apprehended smugglers and illegal entry violators using advanced surveillance technology
