Border Patrol Job Overview

This is a full-time, entry-level position for Law Enforcement Officers (LEOs) in the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency.

As a Border Patrol Agent , you will be part of an elite team tasked with safeguarding America's borders by detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws. This role requires high levels of physical fitness, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

• Surveillance & Detention:** Conduct surveillance from covert positions to identify suspicious activity, including using infrared scopes during night operations.
•  Document Inspection:  Inspect documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
•  Pursuit & Apprehension:** Prevent & apprehend undocumented non-citizens & smugglers at or near borders while maintaining effective network contact systems.
