About the Job
This is a career-ladder position with a grade level progression from GL-9 to GS-11 to GS-12. As a Border Patrol Agent (BPA), you will be responsible for detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws, inspecting documents and possessions, preventing and apprehending aliens and smugglers at or near the borders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Detecting suspicious activities using advanced surveillance systems
- Pursuing violators through rugged terrain on foot or by vehicle
- Analyzing evidence gathered during investigations
Requirements:
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen
