Border Security Specialist

Your typical assignments may include enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations; facilitating legitimate trade and travel; conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances; determining admissibility for entry into the United States; preventing illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods/smuggling contraband.

• A minimum three (3) years general work experience demonstrating ability to meet/deal with people/learn apply body facts OR Bachelor’s degree/substitution/completion four-year course study leading bachelor’s degree from accredited college/university Combination successfully completed college education/general work experience calculated using resume/transcripts submitted application.


• A minimum one (1) year specialized full-time work equivalent next lower grade level including performing physical inspections documents/goods criminal activity/fraud / Applying Federal State/local laws/regulations Making determinations compliance laws/regulations lead arrests/seizure property fines penalties findings.
